The Cheer Club students gave two members of our staff a glimpse of what its like in their club!
A wide array of students were interviewed to tell us why they joined Cheer Club! The 6 girls that were interviewed were 6th graders Zaniyah Williams and Alexis Gordon, and 7th graders Leah Faust, Aurelia Morales, Emma Webb, Gracie Freeman, and Shireba Jones. When asked what their favorite part of Cheer Club was, they all responded with the same answer: "The stunts!" However, they all had different answers for why they joined the club. Leah Faust said, "I did cheer club because all of my friends did cheer, and that encouraged me to try it." On the other hand, Zaniyah Williams said, "I joined Cheer Club because I am a cheerleader, and I wanted to do it at school too." There is a mixture of experienced and beginner cheerleaders in this club, which just shows that everyone came together because of their love for cheer.
