Savannah Boyer competed in the Autobahn Competition and we asked her about her experiences.

Savannah Boyer is a sixth grader who entered the Autobahn Competition. This competition is a go-kart race held in Lemonye, PA. This was a 7 week long competition held every Sunday. Savannah placed second in her end result. We asked Savannah a series of questions about her experience and how she was feeling before the competition.

Q: Were you nervous going into the competition?

A: "Not really, I was more nervous about the start of the race because sometimes the officials would drop the flag without saying go, so it was tricky to know when I was supposed to start."

Q: How did you feel about your placing?

A: Savannah explained that she was happy with her placing, but that she "was being a sore loser".

Q: What did you expect your end result would be?

A: "I expected to either be first or second."

Q: Why did you feel the need to join the competition? A: "I had been practicing and noticed that I was getting really good. I saw an ad for this competition, and I decided to join."
